Lebanon's confirmed cases of COVID-19 rise to 93

Beirut/Xinhua/UNI: Lebanon's Health Ministry on Saturday said that the country's total confirmed cases of COVID-19 ha increased to 93, a local channel reported.

The ministry is testing all suspected cases and monitoring all people coming from infected areas, according to the report.

The ministry urged all citizens to stay at home to restrict the spread of the virus.

On March 11, Lebanon also allocated 39 million US dollars from a loan given by the World Bank for the fight against COVID-19.

It has also taken a series of measures including the closure of borders with Syria starting from March 16 and the suspension of flights from infected areas.
