The website was unveiled by Parvez Dewan, Secretary Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India and its three founders - Mukul Garg, Piyush Grover, and Karteek Narumanchi – protégé of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
Speaking on the occasion, Parvez Dewan, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism said ,"With introduction of this technology, travelling to and within India will become easier to plan. The process will be more enjoyable for all tourists, from within the country and internationally."
