The centre will provide easy access to Indian applicants and travel agents applying for visas to Vietnam from the state of Karnataka.
The centre is located at Unit No 304, second floor, Level 3, Prestige Atrium, No. 1, Central Street, Bengaluru - 560 001.
Operations at this location commenced on Sept 1.
Operating from a dedicated, modern facility, VFS Global ensures that visa applicants receive a high level of service in a comfortable and secure environment.
Earlier this year, in March, VFS Global launched two visa application centres for Vietnam in Chennai and Hyderabad for applicants from the southern states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana.
Karnataka is the fourth southern state from where this service can now be accessed.
Announcing the introduction of this service with VFS Global, Tran Quang Tuyen, Minister – Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of the S.R. of Vietnam to India, said, “Vietnam and India share a huge potential in tourism, trade and investment along with the well-established and traditional friendship. Provide easier access to visa application, with minor cost and less consuming time is one of the priorities of the Embassy in 2015. This year, Vietnam visa facilitation centres have been established in several states of India, such as West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab and Haryana. Through the Vietnam visa facilitation centre in Bangalore, Indian citizens from Karnataka can easily apply for visa to Vietnam. We hope all these measures will contribute to enhance the multifaceted cooperation between our two countries and encourage Indian tourists to visit our beautiful country."
