Barbeque Nation opens outlet in Mumbai
31 Mar 2015, 03:20 pm
Mumbai, Mar 31 (NITN): Barbeque Nation, one of the most successful casual dining restaurant chains in India, inaugurated its seventh restaurant on Monday at Phoenix Market City Mall, Kurla in Mumbai.
The launch marks the entry of the famed casual dining chain into Kurla.
Now visitors to Kurla outlet will be able to bask in the aroma of barbequed food as they experience the joy of grilling their own vegetarian and non-vegetarian barbeques on live grills at their own tables.
Barbeque Nation is a pioneer in India to promote ‘DIY’ (do-it-yourself) cuisine with a concept of live on-the-table grill in India and is today the largest casual dining brand in the country.
The restaurant offers a pre-fixed menu with a fixed price. The menu is drawn from Mediterranean, American, Oriental, Asian and the Indian subcontinent.
The Kurla outlet can accommodate 160 covers. The look and feel of the restaurant follows the basic theme of Barbeque Nation which is rustic and casual with wood and open-brick wall surface.
The sizzle of the grills livens up the whole atmosphere and gives diners a comfortable and cosy experience.
The eat-all-you-can buffet at Barbeque Nation showcases an array of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Starters like Paneer Zafrani Tikka, Mutton Makhan Seekh and Charmola Prawns deserve a special mention.
The Main Course has a number of mouth-watering dishes ranging from Murshidabadi Chicken Biriyani, Seharagi Biriyani to the Dum ke Ghost in non-vegetarian dishes, and the usual suspects such as Dal Palak, Kofta and Kadai Panneerin vegetarian dishes.
For dessert, the chefs serve up popular dishes like Angoori Gulab Jamun, Chocolate Walnut Brownie, Kesari Phirnee along with a delectable range of Kulfis from the restaurant’s newly launched Kulfi Nation counter.
Uday Menon, Chief Business Offier, Barbeque Nation said, “Barbeque Nation has had a very special relationship with the city of Mumbai ever since we opened our first outlet in Mumbai in 2006. Thanks to the great response from Mumbai citizens to Barbeque Nation, we have gone from strength to strength, and are proud to launch the 7th outlet in Mumbai. With the Kurla launch, we hope to offer a complete dining out experience for all occasions to mall-goers”
An average meal for two costs Rs. 1600 and hours of operation are lunch and dinner hours.
