STORY, which also celebrates the "Summer Fest" every year during summer vacations keeps coming up with fun activities for the kids to learn and enjoy at the same time.
The workshops are directed towards children who are 4 years and above. STORY aims to gift a fun-filled and interactive festive season to the kids. They can make the most out of the Puja vacations by getting involved in various activities and workshops organized by STORY.
The workshop will include several events appropriately designed for different age-groups.
From 23rd to 30th October there will be workshops on 'Phonics & Blends words' and from 31st October to 2nd November there will be dedicated workshops on 'Puja Craft' at STORY's flagship store of Elgin Road.
On 3rd-4th November there will be 'Book reading' and 'Recitation with expression and correct postures' activities for the kids; on 5th November there will be a workshop on 'Wealth from Waste'; and from 6th to 7th November, there will be 'Creative Writing' workshops.
Again on 8th November, there will be an 'Origami Workshop'; on 9th and 10th November, there will be a 'Team Building Workshop'; and on 14th November, STORY will conduct an event full of 'Fun and Games" for kids of all age groups.
On the concluding day, i.e. 15th November, there will be a workshop on the subject "My face- My Personality".
In the meanwhile, STORY will conduct its usual Story-telling session on 25th October; and also on 1st, 8th and 15th November.
The workshops will not only focus on the reading habits, cognition and instillation of creativity in kids, but also, on their role in the society and their overall personality development.
The walls of STORY have been adorned with literary pieces specially picked out for children of various age groups. Every Sunday, STORY organizes the ‘Story-teller’s’ club meet, where various activities are planned for the kids to have fun while they learn, at its flagship store at Elgin road.
The flagship store of STORY, was launched in 15th April, 2014 in Kolkata. It claims to be eastern India’s largest standalone bookstore covering an area of 15000 sq feet.
STORY also helps students of Future Hope, an NGO in Kolkata that provides home and school for street children, by training them at various stores during summer internships. It also raises funds and donates books, gifts and toys to various charity organisations.
‘Share a STORY’ initiative collected 10,000 books and handed it over to Future Hope and Mukti Rehabilitation Centre. Story contributes books for the annual Carnival and Jumble Sale at IICP (the Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy).
Eventually a pilgrimage for all book-lovers Story has a massive collection of books of all genres and a dedicated floor for children.

The art street section offers art material and accessories, gift it! section has bountiful of special gift items, greetings section boasts of a wide range of all reasons greeting cards whereas the paper shop and stationery section has a comprehensive range of house paper and stationery materials of different kinds.
