Aussie Specialist trainers meet in Australia
Sydney, Oct 14 (NITN): Tourism Australia and its State and Territory partners brought together a newly recruited team of international trainers last week for the roll out of the all new Aussie Specialist Program.

The trainers, who underwent in-depth training in Sydney and attended famils across the country, will play a vital role in engaging and upskilling frontline travel sellers in Australia’s key international markets to promote and sell Australia more effectively.

“This is a significant investment in how we take our tourism experiences to market internationally and will result, I firmly believe, in very real benefits when it comes to converting new business and improving yield,” said Tourism Australia’s Managing Director John O’Sullivan.

The website www.aussiespecialist.com has also undergone a major upgrade with new training modules and interactive features and has so far rolled out in the UK and North America with other markets to follow over coming months.

The Aussie Specialist Program is Tourism Australia’s global online training program, shared by all eight state and territory tourism partners and designed to provide frontline travel sellers from around the globe with the knowledge and skills to best sell Australia.
