“Goa is undoubtedly the most popular place for destination weddings in the world. It is giving Goa Tourism a new dimension both in terms of economics, employment and overall benefits. People flock to Goa's beaches to tie the knot. We hope that such achievements will serve as a platform for bringing together the best of Goa and showcase what makes the state such a viable wedding destination," said Parulekar.
This year alone Goa Tourism has bagged two prestigious awards, one the PATWA award at ITB Berlin for the Best Wedding and Honeymoon Destination 2015, and the Best Wedding Destination in India by Travel plus Leisure Magazine.
