Doha: Qatar has affixed India and five other nations to its 'exceptional travel red list'.
Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt and Philippines are the countries also added to the list.
A complete ban has also been enforced on unvaccinated travellers from these six countries, while inoculated travellers from the specified nations need to undergo a two day quarantine on arrival in a hotel, said Qatar's Ministry of Public Health.
International travellers will also need to undergo a RT-PCR test within 72 hrs post arrival followed by a rapid antigen test (RAT) on the second day of quarantine, it said.
