Ceske Budejovice: A preferred way by many adventurers to explore South Bohemia, Czech Republic is by river rafting in the Vltava river, the longest waterway in the country at 270 miles.
It runs from Vyssi Brod down to Ceske Budejovice.
The upper part of the river is around 50 miles long, making it perfect for exploring over a long weekend.
Following this river route, one will pass through many small towns and large cities along the way and right through the middle of the historical town of Cesky Krumlov.
Explorers are known to pack tents to make the most out of the campsites that come by.
Adding to the list of interesting stops on the way, Czech breweries are common sites that might peak the interest of a beer connoisseur.
Interestingly, the landlocked country located in Central Europe has over 400 breweries.
Many of these traditional breweries are found in South Bohemia, which could convert your river rafting experience into a possible beer trail.
