Hospitality and culinary bigwigs share knowledge with students of Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management
Kolkata, Aug 8 (NITN): Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management, the flagship college under the JIS Group, recently organized a students' orientation program.

On the opening day, celebrity chefs Kunal Kapur and Sanjeev Kapoor addressed a batch of more than 750 students.

They emphasized that the key  to being successful in this industry was to have the  right mindset and positive attitude .

Each special invitee on subsequent days shared their industry experiences and motivated the students by giving valuable tips on how to cope and survive in this industry that requires young and dynamic people.

Other prominent industry heads who attended the program were Anup Kumar Tewari  (Regional Training Manager, Peerless Hotels), Aveek Sarkar (Hospitality Master Trainer), Jhuma Basak (Psycho-Analyst),  Afzal Khan ( Food and Beverage Director, Taj Bengal Hotel, Kolkata), Kishore Ramola (Director, HR, Swissotel, Kolkata), Gaurav Goswami (General Manager, Pipal Tree Hotel, Kolkata ) and Anirban Guha (Assistat HR Manager, Swissotel, Kolkata).
