Website songwriter.in to act as a bridge between songwriters and producers
Kolkata, Aug 7 (NITN): A recently launched website aims to bring together songwriters and prospective clients on the same platform, thus providing a professional outlet for the industry.

The website songwriter.in, founded by Pinaki Ghosh, is one such platform that invites songwriters from all over the country to write lyrics and compose songs for music albums, films and web series.

Ghosh said that the demand for good Hindi song writers is more than that for compositions in other languages.

The web platform allows clients from across the globe to connect with the songwriters, which gives the songwriters an opportunity for excellent remuneration, said the organisers

“The kind and variety of work that we artists get to explore and push our envelope with, is incredible. Songwriting is no piece of cake,” said a 21-year old undergrad from Jadavpur University in Kolkata.

The company is a segment of the recently launched Power Motions Pictures that is making its foray into the industry with new-age Bengali cinema and web series.
