Childhood is that phase of life where we all wish to go back. Even if we cannot hold on to that phase forever, we can definitely cherish the sweet memories, the unforgettable moments.
Bedtime stories is a part of every child’s life and often mothers, grandmothers or any other caregiver are given this beautiful task of narrating new stories to the children.
Indeed, this is one of the most beautiful moments shared between the storyteller and the listener.
Hara Narayan Dhar, under the pseudonym, Atin Prahar, has composed a wonderful collection of poems for his grandchildren called Abol Tabol Dot Com.
These poems shall be loved by all the children who love to stay in their fantasy land, who appreciate the beauty of nature in their own way and who love the company of animals and birds.
This book consists of numerous poems, all composed keeping in mind the innocence and simplicity of the children.
The poems are short, very easy to understand and enjoyable and more importantly it deals with several topics which will be loved by children.
However, I believe, adults, who still prefer to recall their childhood moments, who are still a child from heart, will enjoy these poems to a great extent.
