Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata follows up Indian Evolution Food Festival with a Republic Day buffet Food Festivals

Kolkata/NITN: Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata is hosting a special food festival focusing on the evolution of modern Indian cuisine until January 24, followed by a Republic Day special buffet on January 26, 2021.

Called the Indian Evolution Food Festival, the first festival showcases how contemporary Indian cuisine is characterized by elegant blends of well-known, regional delicacies together with emerging elements and ingredients from around the world.

The festival is being held at the property’s liquid restaurant Vertex and Kava.

Highlights from the a la carte menu, available for both lunch and dinner, include House Cottage Cheese Petit Steak, Jalapenos, Chives and Camembert, Mint and Za’atar Relish, Tandoori Kesari Bengal Bhetki, Aaloo aur Dill ka Raita, Kachumber Sorbet and Gondhoraj Tiger Prawns, Coconut Curry Sauce, Karuveppilai Sedam, Neer Dosa, Sesame & Pomegranate Kulfi, Soba Falooda and White chocolate Brulee Rosogolla, Fennel Syrup, Rose Sugar.

Soon after this festival, the star property is holding a special buffet spread at the all-day dining Kava to celebrate the 72nd Republic Day.

The special buffet available on January 26 will largely feature dishes from across India, such as Pahadi Murgh Tikka, Zafrani Fish ke Sholey, Macher Jhol, Tamatar Dhaniya Shorba, Hariyali Kofta Curry, Patiala Murgh, Dal Nawabi, Angoori Rasmalai,  Gajar ka Halwa, and much more.
